Our Mission
Freedom Transit isn’t just a transportation project — it’s a commitment to shaping a better, more connected future for Utah, Idaho, and the entire Mountain West. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable, and sustainable rail service that drives economic growth, reduces highway congestion, and connects people to new opportunities.
We believe that transportation is not just about moving people — it’s about moving communities forward.
A Message from Our Founder
“When I founded Freedom Transit, it wasn’t just to lay tracks across the region. It was to lay the groundwork for a stronger, more prosperous future.
For too long, residents and businesses in the Mountain West have faced limited transportation options. Our highways grow more crowded. Commutes get longer. Economic opportunities are unevenly distributed across cities and towns.
I saw an opportunity to change that — to create a system that connects our communities in ways that improve lives today and for generations to come.
Freedom Transit is the result of countless hours of research, planning, and community conversations. It’s built on proven transportation models, a vision for sustainable growth, and a belief that by working together, we can create infrastructure that serves everyone.”
